Can you repair any garage door brand?

Can I operate my garage door opener from my smartphone?

Yes, you can! Please call Choice Garage Doors to discuss the options we can provide if your garage door system does not have a smart enabled device (e.g. LiftMaster MyQ).

Can I replace just a garage door section?

Absolutely! There’s no need to replace your entire garage door if you only have damage to a particular section. How do I find the manufacturer of my garage door?

If you need to look up information about your garage door or find the manufacturer, there are a few ways to do this. First, check the sticker. Manufacturers typically place stickers on the doors, often in more than one place with all the pertinent information like serial and model numbers about that particular door. The stickers typically have the company name and logo on it. The stickers can be small or large. If you don’t see a sticker check the end of each panel it is most likely hidden by the track.

How long is a warranty on a garage door?

What should I do if the cable on my garage door is frayed or my spring is damaged?

What is the difference between a belt and chain drive garage door opener?

The most common type of garage door opener is the chain drive. This works by attaching a sprocket to the end of a chain and then attaching it to a drive shaft. This process requires precision or else the garage door could travel off its tracks when opening or closing and possibly damage the opener, door, or track – or all three. The belt drive garage door opener operates in almost the same way as the chain drive, but with a much smoother and quieter operation.

Why does my garage door not open smoothly?

Several factors can cause your garage door to open and close in an erratic manner and/or close unevenly.
